English coaching

Tailored to your agenda

Over the past 20 years, I’ve worked with CEOs, managing directors, legal teams, scientists, and technical specialists across telecoms, infrastructure, consulting, and research. Whether we’re fine-tuning a board presentation, reviewing AI tools, or sharpening communication for high-stakes meetings, the coaching is always shaped around what matters most in your role.

My Method

  • A person with a smartwatch and wedding rings typing on a silver laptop with black keys on a wooden table.

    Your needs shape the method

No two people learn the same way. That’s why every coaching process begins with understanding how you think, what your role demands, and what actually helps you move forward on your language journey. Progress comes when the work feels relevant, engaging and motivating.

  • Five people working on laptops around a wooden table in a cozy room with wood-paneled walls, some wearing headphones, appearing focused on their tasks.

    Language learning is habit building

Real improvement happens between sessions, not just during them. I help you build simple, sustainable habits that turn English into something you live, not something you study.

  • A person writing in a planner with a black pen, a cup of black coffee, and a bitten croissant on a wooden table.

Technology is useful, but not enough

Apps and platforms are great for repetition and grammar. But coaching adds what they can’t: real conversation, honest feedback, and the flexibility to deal with the messier, more human parts of language. It keeps you on track and brings energy to the process. And please note that I say this as a lover of emerging technologies, technologies that we will embrace as tools for your habit building.

  • Two colleagues, a man and a woman, smiling and giving each other a high five at their office desk.

    Why coaching, not teaching?

Because this is a collaboration. We build from your strengths, address your challenges, and adapt as things evolve. It’s structured, but personal. Focused, but flexible. Serious, but never stiff.

Testimonials

"Eddy is not a traditional English teacher, he is a coach. He has been with me for years when I was managing director at Abertis and has been with me as CEO of Saba since 2011, making it easier to maintain interest and motivation in the classes. We're not just talking about improving the language level, but also about keeping up to date with the latest technological, political and social developments, as well as improving the presentations and speeches we give at work every day. He is more than a teacher!”

Josep Martínez Vila

CEO Saba Group

"I began my classes with Eddy in 2013. Since then, I believe that my level and fluency has improved significantly. His classes are interesting and entertaining, and he helps me to cover a very wide vocabulary. When I need to prepare legal presentations or legal talks for work reasons, he helps me also with the specific vocabulary I'm happy studying with him."

Pilar Fernandez Bozal

Partner EY Spain - Public Law Department

"I’ve been learning English with Eddy as my teacher for over 20 years—initially in group classes with other colleagues, and more recently through one-on-one sessions as the Managing Director of a Research institute. He’s an outstanding teacher who always tailors lessons to my professional field and adapts to my needs at every stage. A perfect 10."
